You can call it Ridgewood Fisheries or you can call it Uwomaru - either way it's a tiny little Japanese market tucked away on a side street in Ridgewood.
If you want to recreate the experience of eating at a Japanese restaurant - but in your own home - this is the place to go. Sushi-grade fish is available, as are miso, pickled ginger, exotic produce, and other products needed for a bonafide Japanese feast. The only glitch is you sort of need to know what you want, because the people working there don't speak much English.
