Krave truck on the roll

Sake for the Soul

The Sushi Lounge restaurants in Totowa and Morristown are offering a special they call "Sake for the Soul," featuring live music and half-priced sake every Sunday. If you haven't been to a Sushi Lounge (there's a 3rd restaurant in Hoboken), it's the hip approach to Japanese cuisine, with a night club vibe and champagne on the menu. Prices are higher than other area sushi restaurants, but a lot of people love the atmosphere and feel the extra charge is worth it.

It's a date!

If you find most dates too sickly sweet, try the Tunisian/Algerian variety called Deglet Noor. The dates are firmer and less sweet - try 'em stuffed with sharp cheese, wrapped in bacon and broiled in the oven.

Dhiraj Arora, the Founder of Arora Creations, has his mom in New Jersey to thank for setting him on the road to business success. When he was away at college, he asked her if she would make up some Indian spice blends to liven up the bland meals he and his roommates were cooking.
